Sarasota offers Fun In The Sun

Sarasota’s tropical weather allows year round fun for the whole family, that includes parades, festivals, sporting events, and musical concerts. People can enjoy downtown Sarasota’s arts and craft shows; comedy festivals featuring well known comics; the Sarasota Jazz Festival; golfing openings; and the boating Grand Prix with fun and fireworks. From August to the end of the year, Sarasota’s activities include a Gymporee play and music show followed by restaurants touting their culinary best at The Tase of Sarasota.

Speaking of culinary treats, it would be a delectable experience for everyone who is in town enjoying Sarasota’s many shows and festivals, to dine at the Caragiulos Restaurant. This great Italian-American restaurant is one of the highlights of downtown. Everyone is greeted as they enter through the oak doors, by one of the Caragiulo brothers and their warm and friendly staff. Menus include fresh pastas, fresh bread that is baked on the premises, and fresh salads. Momma Caragiulo still bakes her fresh biscotti, and there are kid friendly menus featuring home made pizza.

Art festivals, boating parades, sporting events, and music concerts are happening all over Sarasota throughout the year. Other important events include free exhibitions of sculptures from around the world at the Sarasota’s Season of Sculptures, which are on display from late fall to the following spring. The end of the year also features the 21st Annual Blues Festival, with people coming from around the country and in conclusion is the tropical themed Christmas Boat Parade.
