A little slice of Brooklyn

Many years ago, I packed my big family in our little car and drove south to find a place to start our family restaurant. We found our new home in Sarasota and immediately built a little spot where we could make an even bigger family from our loyal customers. When new folks come in, our regulars like to recommend other places to see while in this amazing little town.

If the beautiful white-sand beaches are too steamy for you, take a cool stroll through the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens (selby.org) which includes a tropical rainforest, butterfly garden and many other unique views. Another way to beat the heat (or the rain) is to visit The Ringling (ringling.org), a world-class art museum that is the legacy of circus impresario John Ringling. The site also includes the Ca’ d’Zan and a museum of the Ringling Brothers circus, which is sure to be a treat for all ages.

Sarasota is home to many other wonderful restaurants and shops as well, so feel free to stop by Caragiulo’s and get the skinny from our staff and patrons.
