Bring Sunshine to Your Day at Caragiulos

On those rare days in Sarasota, Florida, when the sun refuses shine, bring brightness to them with a meal at Caragiulos.

As one one of the city’s most renowned institutions, a visit to Caragiulos provides a lifetime of memories. Originally founded as a cozy storefront on Palm Avenue, Tony Caragiulo and his five sons left Brooklyn, New York, and came to Florida with the idea for establishing a delicious Italian kitchen.

After an exhausting search throughout Florida with little results and a great deal of frustration, Tony took control telling his son: “Stoppa the*#!*#!!!!car!,… This is it!” His vision had been realized, as he pointed to the vacant stucco location that would become Caragiulos.

The restaurant’s food has a reputation that precedes it. Using the finest ingredients, Caragiulos has served casual, innovative Italian-American comfort food since 1989. Our bread is baked freshly on the premises every morning. The mozzarella is made fresh as well, while our biscotti is still baked by Mrs. Caragiulo herself. Eating here is more like a gathering in the home of a good friend where guests feel at home while creating lifelong memories.

Caragiulos is open seven days a week. Reserve tables for parties of six or more by calling 941-951-0866. Find us online at www.caragiulos.com, where we post special offers for customers and the latest news.
